With our new garage will come a new garden, so this weekend we went on part of the Mar Vista Green Garden Showcase tour for some ideas and inspiration. Perhaps we can emulate this one? It was one of our favorites.
I think you'll be able to pull that off. You'll have such a backyard oasis. Please post before/after pics. You know how I get into that kind of thing :)
Great perennial garden LOW MAINTAINENCE! I might suggest the blue potatoe bush. They flourish with 1" purple flowers with a tiny yellow center and you can sculpt them to a topiary or canapy or just let them bush out. They will stay lovely year round there. We had them in 2 patio pots last year and they were great. They did not however survive the 100" of snow... No local nurseries have them this year. boo hoo.
